ShieldsTM
for
Children
United IPS is
proud to offer
two managed care
services that
aspire to
enhance the
protection of
children who use
the Internet.
Each service is
professionally
installed by a
licensed Private
Investigator,
who understands
all of the
issues and
concerns that a
parent would
have. In other
words, we do not
use "geeks" who
lack the
professionalism,
and the
adherence to strict licensing
and regulations
as
mandated by the
State of
Florida's
Division of
Licensing.
And by law, the
information
about you and
your family is
held in strict
confidence and
is protected by
a client agent
communication
regulation
effective
in Florida
(similar to the
Client Attorney
confidentiality
clause).
The eBlaster
2008 service is
professionally
installed and
professionally
managed remotely
by a licensed
Private
Investigator.
The Spector Pro
2008 service is
professionally
installed but it
is managed by
the Parents. We
do the hard
part: set it up
on your
computer(s), and
show you how to
manage the
reports and how
to effect
changes to your
children's
access to the
Internet.

on each service,

the following
links, or read
on for more
reasons why
you should
purchase one of
these two
services.

Just consider
the following
statistics,
compiled from
the FBI and
Justice
Department web
sites:
-
With an
estimated 24
million
children
online, one
out of five
have been
solicited
for sex in
the last
year.
-
An estimated
725,000
children
have been
"aggressively"
asked for
sex, defined
as an offer
to meet in
person.
-
One in four
children
were sent
pictures of
people who
were naked
or having
sex.
-
Since 1996,
the FBI
estimates a
2000%
increase in
child
pornography
images on
the
internet.
-
According to
the FBI:
Chat rooms
offer the
advantage of
immediate
communication
around the
world and
provide the
pedophile
with an
anonymous
means of
identifying
and
recruiting
children
into
sexually
illicit
relationships.
-
There are
currently
three child
predators
listed on
the FBI’s
Ten Most
Wanted
Fugitives
list.
-
The FBI
recommends
that you
should
monitor your
child's
access to
all types of
live
electronic
communications
(i.e., chat
rooms,
instant
messages,
Internet
Relay Chat,
etc.), and
monitor your
child's
e-mail.
Computer-sex
offenders
almost
always meet
potential
victims via
chat rooms.
After
meeting a
child
on-line,
they will
continue to
communicate
electronically
often via
e-mail.
